Erath- Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice, for Mrs. Frankie Laurie Domingue, age 60, who passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at her residence in Erath. Visitation will be observed on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 12:00 noon and will continue thru the night until the time of services at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Pastor Daniel Goodman of Maranatha Baptist Church will officiate. Frankie Laurie Meaux was born on February 10, 1960 in Abbeville, Louisiana and she was a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish. She will be remembered as a kind and loving person, who loved life and lived it to the fullest each day. She enjoyed crafting, and was especially talented with making beads, crosses, rosaries and all manner of beautiful creations. She enjoyed trips to the Casino and playing her favorite slot machine. She loved meeting new people. She never met a stranger and she made friends wherever she went. More than anything, Frankie was a wife and a mother, she loved and cherished spending time with her husband, her children and her family. Frankie loved the Lord with all of her heart, and she was a faithful follower of Jesus. No matter how difficult her battle became she remained positive in her attitude and faithful in her trust in God. Frankie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Frankie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Michael James Domingue of Erath; her children, Chris Domingue (Tara) of Erath, Nehemiah Domingue of Erath, Brasen Domingue of Erath, and JoBeth Domingue (Brent) of Erath; her siblings, David Meaux (Brenda) of Valrico Florida, Rosalyce “Cissi” Bares (Teddy) of Erath, Mary Delcambre (Gerryl) of Abbeville, Danny Meaux (Carlene) of Maurice, Louise Duhon (Kerry) of Erath, Joseph “Butch” Meaux Jr. of Abbeville, and Robbie Meaux (Joann) of Abbeville; her brother in law, Bradley Racca of Maurice; as well as 16 nieces and nephews; 32 great nieces and nephews; and 3 great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph “Cotchie” Meaux and Aline Theriot Meaux; her brother, Joseph Elie Meaux; her sister, Anna Meaux Racca; her paternal grandparents, Didier Meaux and Josephine Gisclair Meaux; her maternal grandparents, Alex Theriot and Aline Parks Theriot; her nephew, Tomi Touchet; her brother-in-law, Valois Touchet; and her sister-in-law, Katherine Terry Meaux. The Domingue family wishes to extend a heartfelt Thank You to Dr. Sweekriti Adikari of Our Lady of Lourdes, and Dr. Perri Prellop, as well as the nurses and staff of St. Joseph Hospice for the kindness and compassion that they showed Frankie during her deepest time of need.
