Dianne Broussard Touchet

Lafayette - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton for Dianne Broussard Touchet, age 80, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Lafayette. Fr. William Schambough, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church will Celebrate the Mass. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024, from 12:00 PM until time of service at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton. A Rosary will be prayed at 1:00 PM. Dianne Touchet was born on July 8, 1944 in New Iberia and was a long time resident of Lafayette. Dianne passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She loved her family above all. Dianne served as a Eucharistic Minister of St Joseph in Milton, and at Rosewood Nursing Home at Saint Pius X. She loved the beach, the mountains, and nature. Dianne was a Master Gardener who loved plants and flowers. She also loved watching LSU games with her family. If you knew her, you were inspired by her giving spirit, strength, and perseverance. She never judged and she gave selflessly to others. Her legacy and light will live on in our hearts and memories, forever. Dianne is survived by by her loving husband of 62 years, Fred Touchet; her children, Jill Woolfolk (Scott) of Maurice, Jude Touchet (Brandi) of The Woodlands, and Brandon Touchet (Stacey) of Bossier City; her grandchildren, Jacob Woolfolk, Zachary Woolfolk, Taylor Touchet, Monique Touchet, Brennan Touchet, Victoria Touchet, Isaac Touchet, and Sophia Touchet; her great-grandchildren, Maryn Woolfolk, Audrey Woolfolk, Hayden Touchet, Peyton Touchet, and Laken Touchet; as well as her sister, Laurie Lee Broussard Domingue. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Broussard and Laurie Hulin Broussard; her sister, Faye H. Abraham; as well as her great-grandchild, Elanor Grace Woolfolk. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery immediately following the Funeral Mass. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Joseph Brierre, MD; Eric Bueller, PA; and Hospice of Acadiana for the care and compassion that they offered Dianne and her family in their time of need.
