Wanda Mae Touchet

Abbeville - Wanda Mae Touchet, age 71, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 in Abbeville. Wanda was born on November 23, 1949 in Abbeville, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Abbeville General for many years. She loved caring for people and taking care of those in need. In her time away from work she enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo and taking trips to the casino. More than anything Wanda loved spending time with her family, visiting with her sisters and being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Wanda will be remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother, as well as a loving sister and friend. She will be dearly missed. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Michelle Klein and her husband Joseph of Abbeville; her grandchildren, Samantha Broussard of Maurice, Michael Meaux of Abbeville, Paige Langlinais of Abbeville and Broc Langlinais of Abbeville; her great grandchildren, Kale Broussard and Brylee Meaux; her sisters, Marjorie Richard of Abbeville, Dolores Trahan of Maurice and Juanita Sisk of Maurice; her dear friends, Belinda Hargrave of Abbeville and Juanita Romero of Kaplan; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Murphy J. Touchet and Nola Connor Touchet, and her two sisters, Betty Trahan and Ella DeCoux.
