Roxanne "Roxie" Broussard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Abbeville - Roxanne "Roxie" Broussard, age 63, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Roxanne Broussard was born October 25, 1958, in Abbeville, Louisiana and she was a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish. She will be remembered as the life of the party, if you wanted to know anything about anyone Roxie was the person to ask. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and she cherished spending time with her son, her grandchildren, and her family. Roxanne was a hard worker and was never afraid of doing whatever it took to get the job done. She was also an animal lover and she adored her beloved dogs. Roxanne will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Roxanne is survived by her son, Dustin Broussard, and his fiancé Carly Vaughn; her grandchildren, Emma Broussard, and Kenna Broussard; her siblings, Bradley Broussard, Brenda Broussard, Loma Broussard, Teena Broussard, Kevin Broussard, Michelle Broussard, and Tamara Baudoin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Broussard and Lorenia Broussard; her brothers, Rody Broussard, and Ronnie Broussard; her nephews, Jabien Broussard, Joshua Broussard, and Colby Broussard; and her sisters-in-law, Goldie Broussard, and Jamie Broussard. The Broussard family wishes to offer a special thank you to Jay and Tiffany at Our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital in Lafayette, for the care and compassion they offered Roxanne during her time of need.
