Ricky Lane Delcambre Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Abbeville - Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Ricky Lane Delcambre, age 61, who passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 in Abbeville, Louisiana. Deacon Keith Duhon of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milton will conduct the services. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Cypress Funeral Home. Ricky Lane Delcambre was born on July 11, 1960 in Erath, Louisiana and he was a life long resident of Vermilion parish. He was a graduate of Abbeville High School and he worked as a carpenter throughout his life. In his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball and he was a fan of the Atlanta Braves. Ricky was an avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, crawfishing and training his dogs. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man who was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He will be dearly missed. Ricky is survived by his children, Daria Breaux (Colby) of Meaux, and Brett J. Delcambre of Erath; his grandchildren, Cody Breaux, Cayne Breaux, and Demee Breaux; his mother, Delta Trahan Delcambre of Abbeville; his brother, Tony Delcambre (Suzanna) of Maurice; his sister, Lou Anna Breaux of Crowley; as well as his neice and nephew, Miranda Hebert (Travis), and Aaron Delcambre. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Joseph Delcambre; and his brother, Brian Delcambre. Pallbearers will be: Aaron Delcambre, Malcom Joseph, Hunter LeBleu, Anthony Frederick, Timothy Delcambre, and Blue LeBleu. Interment will take place in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Kaplan, Louisiana. Burial arrangements have been entrusted to Cypress Funeral Home, 206 West Lafayette Street, Maurice, Louisiana 70555.
