Pamela Fayard Johnson

Maurice- Pamela Fayard Johnson, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at her residence in Maurice, Louisiana. Pam was born on December 3, 1961 in New Orleans and was a resident of Potomac Illinois prior to relocating to Maurice, Louisiana 25 years ago. She was employed by Bell Sports Corporation in Rantoul, Illinois. Pam loved life and she lived her life to the fullest, regardless of the difficulties that came her way. She was a music lover and enjoyed listening to musicians such as Peter Frampton and her all-time favorite singer George Straight. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards and coloring with the children. She was an avid collector of beautiful angels, and she also loved collecting owls. More than anything Pam loved family, she will be remembered as a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughter; Shonda Johnson and her husband Chase Nelson of Walker; her son, James Johnson III of Walker; her brothers, Samuel Fayard and Troy Fayard; her sister, Barbra Pigron; and her grandchildren, Nevaeh, Annabelle, Carter, Blayne and Adia. She was preceded in death by her parents; Roy Fayard and Clara Netto Fayard, and her brothers; Ricky Fayard and Timmy Fayard.
