Millie R. Wilborn Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Abbeville - A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 4:00 pm at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Millie R. Wilborn, age 66, who passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022, in Lafayette, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2022, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the Chapel of Cypress Funeral Home. Millie R. Wilborn was born on October 26, 1955, in Wiggins, Mississippi and she was a long-time resident of Abbeville. She was a very kind and lively person; many called her the life of the party as she was always ready for dancing or karaoke. She was a wonderful cook, and she enjoyed sharing her cooking knowledge with others. in her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, crocheting, and ceramics. More than anything Millie was a loving mother and grandmother, she absolutely adored her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, David Dunn (Sharon) of California, Stephanie Mosing (Brandon) of Youngsville, and Chelsea Sonnier (Dennis) of Erath; her grandchildren, Max, Miles, Dante, Giselle, and Gracie; as well as her siblings, Jayne Dickson, Nancy Wilborn, Missy Hunt, and Andy Hunt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Wilborn and Earline Atwood Hunt; as well as her sister, Regina Morales.
