Margaret Rose White Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Lafayette- A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Margaret Rose White, age 71, who passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Rev. Weldon Moak of First Baptist Church in Broussard will conduct the services. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the Cypress Chapel. Margaret “Maggie” White was born on February 20, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to the late Franklin and Margaret Sewell. Maggie loved talking to others about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved praying with others, especially those in in need of prayers. She had a beautifully gifted voice that she used as frequently as she could to glorify God. She had traveled the world in her younger days gathering as much knowledge as she could, so that she could share everything she would come to learn with her students over the course of her career as a teacher. She loved her fur babies like they were her own children and she cared for them in the same manner. She will be dearly missed by her friends and students. She was preceded in death by her parents, Franklin and Margaret Sewell. Burial will be held in the Bancker Cemetery in Vermilion Parish.
