Lafayette - A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Margaret Hunter Tipton, age 69, who passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Cypress Chapel. Margaret was born on August 10, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri and she spent most of her life on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. She loved getting lost in the words of good book. She spent her remaining days in Cajun country her in Lafayette Louisiana closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Margaret is survived by her children, Shane Carter, Jimmy Carter, Crystal Sullivan (Andrew); her 3 grandchildren; as well as her siblings, Kathy, George, Leon, and Rosemary.
