Larry Dale Schexneider Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kaplan - A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Larry Dale Schexneider, Jr., age 38, who passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 in Monroe, Louisiana. Deacon Keith Duhon of St. Josephs Catholic Church will conduct the services. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM in the Cypress Chapel. Larry was born on February 6, 1983 in Kaplan Louisiana and he was a life long resident of Vermilion Parish. He will be remembered as an amazing brother. In his spare time he enjoyed cooking and spending time with his loved ones and special friends. Larry was loved by many people including his family in Kaplan family and all of his friends in Monroe. He was a loving and caring person who would do anything for anyone in need. Although he went through tough times in his life he never gave up. He was definitely the life of the party and loved cutting up with his friends and family. Larry was very excited to start his new journey in the oil field and follow in his father's foot steps. He was more than a brother, he was a best friend and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him. Larry is survived by his siblings, Lisa Schexneider and her fiance Jarrod Legnon, Brandi Simon and her husband Baji Ramos, Mike Simon and his wife Vicki Broussard, Steven Simon and his wife Ashley Touchet, and Lane Schexneider and his wife Shelly Schexneider. He is preceded in death by his parents, Larry Schexneider and Sheila Begnaud Schexneider; and his wife, Keena Bliss. Pallbearers - Mike Simon, Steven Simon, Lane Schexneider, Jarrod Legnon, Brennan Simon, Braydan Simon Internment will be Held in the Hebert Cemetery in Kaplan, Louisiana.
