Judy B. Lavergne Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Duson- A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, at 12:00 Noon at Crossroads Church in Lafayette, Louisiana for Judy B. Lavergne, age 73, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at her residence in Duson, with her family by her side. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon at the church. Judy Ann Bouillion was born on January 2, 1949, in Scott, Louisiana and she was a lifelong resident of Lafayette Parish. She was a graduate of Scott High school Class of 1966. She will be remembered as a faithful and devoted Christian who loved the Lord with all of her heart. Family is what mattered most to Judy, she enjoyed bringing the family together for gatherings and family get-togethers. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, the beauty of butterflies, playing games, and being with her children and grandchildren. Judy's memories will live on forever in our hearts, and she will be dearly missed. Judy is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jimmy Lavergne of Duson; her children, Michelle Monte (Glen) of Duson, Tricia Conques (Laine) of Duson, and Todd Lavergne (Gigi) of Texas; her grandchildren, Stuart Monte, Tim Monte (Tori), Jordan Monte (Taylor), Leah Williams (Grant), Victoria Naquin (Jason), Sarah Conques, Angel Heise (Ryan), Kristian Zamaripia, Faith Jamerson (Hayley), and Matthew Lavergne; her 6 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Barbara Leger (Tommy) of Scott, and Loretta Thibodeaux (Larry) of Duson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Odey Bouillion and Eunice Boudreaux Bouillion; and her niece, Melissa Leger. The family wishes to offer a special thank you to the Nurses, Doctors and Staff of Heart of Hospice, and Travis Guidry for the support and compassion they provided Judy in her time of need.
