St. Martinville - James "Jim" David Robinson, Sr., age 69, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. James David Robinson Sr. was born on May 6, 1952 in England and he was a resident of St. Martinville, Louisiana. Jim was an adventurous free spirited soul. He loved traveling, and meeting new people. His passion was riding his motorcycle. Those who knew him the best knew he was a prankster, he loved making jokes and playing tricks. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. James is survived by his companion, Celine Bourque of St. Martinville; his children, Laura R. Amick of South Carolina, James D. Robinson Jr. of South Carolina, Matthew Robinson of Texas, Ethan Robinson of South Carolina, Chance Robinson of South Carolina, Skyeler Robinson of South Carolina, and Elijah Robinson of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, Chelsea A. Kirkland, and Amanda Robinson; his great grandchildren, Waylon Robinson, William Robinson, Wriley Robinson, Avery Kirkland, Maya Kirkland, and Mason Robinson Moore; his siblings, Kathryn Slocomb (Steve) of Texas, and Marissa Higgins (James) of Texas, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Robinson and Constance Brogdon.
