Rayne - On February 23, 2021, Harriet Mae Mosley, 78, was called to eternal rest with her family by her side. Harriet was born on August 1, 1942 to the union of Harrison and Bernadette Edmond. Harriet was a 1960 graduate of Acadia Parish Training School in which she remained a very active contributor to the coordination of the biennial reunion activities for the school. She also enjoyed crafting, walking, and spending time with family and friends. There was no place she could go where she did not know at least one person. She was truly a woman that never met a stranger, only a friend she hadn’t spoken to yet. She now leaves to cherish her memories her children, John White, III of Lafayette, LA and Tiffany White (Jessie) of Rayne, LA; a bonus daughter, Michelle Harmon of Hanover, MD; two grandsons, Keith Sinegal of Youngsville, LA and Kadyn White of Rayne, LA; two sisters, Josephine Watkins of San Jose, CA and Flora Edmond of Rayne, LA; and a host of other relatives and friends. Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Harrison and Bernadette Edmond; her sons, “Baby White” and John White, II; and her brothers, Willie, Raymond, and Lewis Vlorie.
