Ferall Anthony Venable Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Scott - Ferall Anthony Venable, age 52, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at his residence in Scott, LA. Ferall was born March 22, 1970, was a graduate of Church Point High School's class of 1988 (The Great '88), and worked a successful career in the oil and gas industry. He had a kind, confident, and gentle personality with an infectious laugh. Ferall never met a stranger and had a vast number of friends, whom he thought were his family. He was everyone’s best friend and unselfishly gave to anyone he could help. Ferall’s famous words were, “If you need anything, just call.” He would call his mother nightly, because his love was so big. Losing him will leave a hole in so many lives. A jack of all trades, whether it was dirt work or carpentry, tractors or boats, he knew enough and had the patience to teach you. Ferall’s passions changed throughout his life, from playing his accordion, to riding horses and raising his hunting dogs, to guns as well as fishing, he was your true all-around guy. Ferall is survived by his longtime partner of 13 years, Kreseda Mouton; his parents, Jimmie and Linda Venable; his brothers, Craig Venable and wife, Charlotte and Bradley Venable and his wife, Erica, all of Church Point; and his six nieces and nephews, Trevor Bordelon and Tyler, Taylor, Jude, Hali, and Kamryn Venable. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Remie Venable (Poppop), Beatrice Venable (Mommom), Gerald Prejean (Papae), Olydia Prejean (Mamae); and his cousin, Cody Abshire.
