Scott - The family of Euclide Allen (Bruce) Broussard, 75, would like to share the news of his passing on July 24, 2022, at Ochsner American Legion Hospital in Jennings, LA. Bruce is survived by: his wife Deborah Hanks Broussard, his daughter Tonya Nolan (Albert), and sons Barry Broussard (Jenny), and Kurt Broussard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, sister Brenda Hornsby and brothers Terry Broussard and Bobby Short. The love he had for his wife and family will live forever in their hearts and memories. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rita Broussard and Laura Cormier Short, two of his sisters, Joann Venable and Janette Short, and his brother, Darrell Broussard. He was an Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. Governor Bobby Jindal awarded him the Louisiana Veterans Honor Medal. Bruce was the owner and operator of Bruce's Auto Paint and Body Clinic in Scott, LA. In his younger and more agile days, you could always find “paw” piddling in his garden or with his farm animals. The family would like to express gratitude to his sitter/caregiver of the past year, Ros Haure. To honor his wishes, there will not be funeral services. Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory, 206 W.
