Elizabeth Rose LeBlanc Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Maurice - A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice, LA for Elizabeth Rose LeBlanc, age 85, who passed away peacefully at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in Maurice, LA. Deacon Keith Duhon of St. Joseph's Church in Lafayette will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 10:00 am until the time of service at Cypress Funeral Home. Elizabeth was born on March 15, 1937, in Breaux Bridge, LA and she was a lifelong resident of Acadiana. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, arts & crafts, as well as fishing and camping. Elizabeth was an avid dancer, but most of all she loved her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Ricky LeBlanc and his wife, Cheryl of Maurice, Joann Gary and her husband, Paul of Maurice, Robert LeBlanc and his wife, Liz of Lafayette, and Tommy LeBlanc of Maurice; her seven grandchildren; her ten great-grandchildren; along with a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas LeBlanc; her parents, Jacque and Arthemise Thibodeaux LeBlanc; and her two sisters, Yuline Berthelot and Francis Broussard The family wishes to offer a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Traditions Health Hospice as well as Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation especially Nichole Dartez for the care and compassion they offered Elizabeth and her family during her time of need.
