Scott - Dwyane J. Chiasson passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at his residence in Scott, Louisiana. Dwayne was born on October 27, 1963 to Chester J Duplein and Mary Breaux in Lafayette, Louisiana. Our brother was a happy and free-spirited person with a great sense of humor. He was a hard worker that took pride in whatever task was at hand, whether it be automotive repair or his carpentry. He had a passion for cooking, music and the great outdoors. He had the ability to lighten the mood just by walking into the room. The way he would like to be remembered is by knowing he left his last footprints on the good things he has done in life. Brother your memories will forever live on. You will be dearly be missed by many. Dwayne is survived by his siblings, Rhonda Fewell and her husband Andy, Karen Alcock, and Bryan K. Chiasson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester J. Duplein and Mary Breaux; as well as one niece, Donia Foti.
