Kaplan - A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Kaplan, LA for Debra Ann Meaux, age 59, who passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, June 16, 2022, in Kaplan, LA. Debra Ann Meaux was born on February 24, 1963, in Crowley, LA and she was a longtime resident of Vermilion Parish. She had a passion for cooking, loved arts and crafts, and was a tremendous woman. Debra was a wonderful mother and great provider for her sons and family. She was never a quitter, fighting until the end and she always said, “Never say you can’t”. Debra will be dearly missed. Debra is survived by her four sons, Anthony and his fiancé, Mary Turner, Zachary, Lloyd, and Ricky Meaux, Jr. all of Kaplan; her seven grandchildren, Xander and Jaina Meaux, Nina Adams, Rayden Meaux, Jillian and Ethan Romero, and Dempsey Turner; her five sisters, Diana Meaux, Patsy Rogers, Glenda Rogers, Brenda Miller, and Kathy Meaux; along with a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Betty Henry Meaux. Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory, 206 W.
