Abbeville - Charlotte Ann Menard, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 in Lafayette, Louisiana. Charlotte Ann Hollis was born on December 25, 1940 in El Dorado Arkansas and she was a long time resident of Abbeville. She enjoyed going camping and spending time with her husband. She was also an animal lover, and she cherished her dogs "Scooter" and "Jethro". More than anything Charlotte was a loving mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Raywood Menard of Abbeville; her children, Angel Bienvenu (Ryan) of Abbeville, Joshua Menard of Nunez; her grandchildren, Cody Menard, Kade Bienvenu, Blaze Menard, Sierra Menard, Jena Bienvenu, Sage Menard; as well as her 9 great grandchildren.l She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Hollis and Zell Beasley Hollis; her brothers, Bill Hollis and Thomas Hollis; as well as her paternal and maternal grandparents. The Menard family would like to offer a special thank you to the Nurses at our Lady of Lourdes Heart Hospital for the amazing care they provided Charlote in her time of need; as well as her long time beautician Pam Blakely, for years of faithfully keeping her hair exactly as she wanted it.
