Gueydan - A Graveside Service will be held at a later date for Charles Blaine Vaughn, age 69, who passed away peacefully at Gueydan Memorial Guest House on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, in Gueydan, LA. Charles Blaine Vaughn was born on August 7, 1952, in Abbeville, LA and was a lifelong resident of Vermilion Parish. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting deer and wild boar as well as spending summers fishing for choupique and bass. Blaine loved working on a farm especially with cattle. He will be dearly missed. Blaine is survived by his granddaughter, Dakotah Touchet; his brother, Andrew Ivan Vaughn, Jr.; his longtime companion, Tracey Lynn Stelly of Forked Island, LA; his step-children, Amber Touchet (Mallorie) and Gage Stelly; his goddaughter, Emily Nicole Guidry; along with a host of dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Ivan, Sr. and Louise Fredrick Vaughn; and his brother, Todd Vaughn. The family wishes to offer a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, doctors, and staff at Gueydan Memorial Guest House, the staff at CNA, and Lamm Family Care Hospice for the care and compassion they offered Blaine and his family during their time of need.
