Coteau Holmes – Graveside Services will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026 from 2:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Cemtery in Coteau Holmes for Tia Dawn Landry, age 43, who passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 in Lafayette. Rev. Bill Melancon, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Coteau Holmes Recreation Center. Tia was born on December 3, 1982 in Gulfport, Mississippi. She was a long-time resident of Coteau Holmes. Her loved ones are celebrating Tia as confidant, honoring her laughter and strength, and expressing the pain of her absence. Tia was a best friend, confidant, and partner in childhood memories. she is never truly gone, but watches over us from heaven and lives in the wind and nature. Tia loved her family and friends. She loved her grandbabies more than life. She enjoyed having a good time being with friends and She loved thrifting. "Forever in our hearts, a sister's love lives on My confidant, my friend, my sister Dancing in heaven, free of pain The bond we shared is never broken by death". Tia is survived by her loving spouse of 24 years, Mark Bonin; her children Haylie Thibodeaux, Miley Bonin, Evan Bonin, Ty Bonin, T-Mark Bonin, and Chasidy Bonin; her grandchildren, Kayson Bonin and Kaylus Hebert; her father, Paul J. Landry Sr.; and her siblings, Rose Buford of Abbeville, Nicole Newman of Abbeville, Pauline Landry of Rayne, Serena Bouillon of Kaplan, and Paul Landry Jr. of Kaplan. She is preceded in death by Momma Sue Landry, and her brother, Jamie Landry. Pallbearers will be Mark Bonin, Evan Bonin, Ty Bonin, Landon Falgout, Bonnie Bonin, and T-Mark Bonin; and honorary pallbearers will be Chasidy Bonin and Miley Bonin. Tia’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the dedicated hospital staff at Lafayette General & Hospice doctors, nurses, technicians, and support personnel for their incredible expertise, unwavering compassion, and tireless efforts. Your commitment to Tia’s care, even in the most challenging times, brings comfort and healing, making you true heroes. Thank you all. Interment will be held following the services at St Elizabeth Catholic Cemetery in St. Martinville, LA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cypress Funeral Home & Crematory, 206 W. Lafayette St., Maurice, LA 70555.
