Lafayette - A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at 12:00 pm in the Assembly Room in First Baptist Church in Lafayette for Patrick Steven Faulk, age 55, who passed away at his residence on Saturday, September 16, 2023, in Lafayette. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 10:00 am until the time of service in the Assembly Room in First Baptist Church in Lafayette. Patrick Steven Faulk was born on September 12, 1968, in Patrick AFB, Cocoa Beach, FL and he was a longtime resident of Lafayette. He graduated from Edison High School in Huntington Beach, CA, Class of 1987. After high school, Patrick attended University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, graduating in 1996 with a BS in Business Administration and a major in Accounting. Upon graduation Patrick accepted a position with the Louisiana Department of Administration as an Analyst in Baton Rouge. Patrick was a strong family man and devoted husband, father, and son. He joined the First Baptist Church of Lafayette in 1991 and was a faithful member until his death. He especially loved his adult Sunday School Class and participating in the Thursday morning Prayer/Breakfast at the Hub City Diner. He loved computers, working on them and helping others with their computers. Of course, we have to include his enthusiasm in all things Star Trek! Patrick will be dearly missed. Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Ellen Wallis Hagelin Faulk of Lafayette; his daughter, Heather Gayle Faulk; his parents, Renold Irvin Faulk and Gayle Nina Ledford Faulk of Youngsville; his siblings, Renold Scott Faulk of Youngsville and Michelle Rene Faulk Glick of Youngsville; along with a host of dear friends. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William Ward Faulk, Sr. and Rita Mae Stackhouse Faulk; his maternal grandparents, Homer Grover Ledford and Nina Nadine Sorg Ledford; as well as his aunts, Ruby Marie Faulk Spaetgens, Gloria Lee Faulk Kibodeaux, and Myrna Lou Ledford Loomis. The family wishes to offer a heartfelt thank you to the abundance of friends who have stayed by their side in their time of grief. Even though Patrick’s death was of natural causes, the family would like to thank the first responders, especially the Lafayette Parish Sheriffs who were so helpful.
