Lorraine "Tiki" Landry

Lafayette - A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice for Lorraine “Tiki” Landry, age 85, who passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Maison De Lafayette. Deacon Keith Duhon will be the officiant. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM until service time at Cypress Funeral Home in Maurice. Entombment services will be held at Saint Anne Cemetery in Youngsville. Lorraine was born on November 4, 1939 in Bunkie and she was a longtime resident of Lafayette. She loved to read and could often be found with a good book in hand. She also loved playing po-ke-no and bingo. She was a kind and generous woman who found joy in giving her time and talents to others. Lorraine served as a Pink Lady at Lafayette General Hospital’s gift shop, greeting patients and families with her warm smile, caring friendly nature, and where her love of people shone through. For 25 years, Lorraine worked with Piccadilly as head cashier, where she built lasting friendships and took pride in her work. She was also a wonderful cook who loved preparing meals to share with family and friends. Those who knew her will remember her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Lorraine is survived by her children, Preston Landry Jr., Debra Howald (Kevon), and Blake Landry (Christina Guidry); her grandchildren, Nicole Pellerin (Brandon), Jenna Cawthorn (Greg), Patrick Landry, Chase Landry, and Brennan Landry (Emily); her great-grandchildren, Breighton Pellerin, Nanci Pellerin, Jace Pellerin, Maci Pellerin, Lexi Pellerin, Chance Cawthorn, Matthew Cawthorn, Andi Landry, and Oliver Landry; as well as her siblings, Dianna Knoll, Eugene Deshotel, and Connie Tate. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Landry Sr.; her parents, Verdie and Hosea Deshotel Sr.; as well as her siblings, Charles, Ralph, Eddie Sr., Gerald, Hosea Jr., and Rosa Lee Deshotel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of Maison de Lafayette for the care and compassion they offered to Lorraine in her time of need.
