Dolores Sandoval Hebert

Maurice- Dolores Sandoval Hebert, age 72, beloved wife, mother, grammy, sister, and friend passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 1, 1953, Dolores lived a life full of love, laughter, and dedication to her family and friends. Dolores had a gift for making everyone around her feel welcomed and cared for. She cherished every moment spent with her family and friends and her warm spirit and joyful presence will be deeply missed. In her younger years, Dolores was an avid bowler and enjoyed many mornings at the lanes with her bowling friends. On the weekends, she loved a good game of bourrée with the ladies. She was also a devoted sports fan and especially loved cheering on her favorite teams, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. Game days were always special occasions filled with excitement, good company, and watching the football pool numbers. Dolores will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for the people in her life. Her memory will live on through the many hearts that she touched. She is survived by her loving daughter Emie Hebert, her son David Hebert and wife Andye, Wendy Hebert, the mother of his children; her grandchildren Rylin Boudreaux, Jackson Bodin, Bailey Hebert, Blair Hockin and husband, Alex, Bonnie Hebert, Jade Hebert, and Stevie Hebert; her great grandson Alex Hockin Jr.; her sisters Lynette Bejeaux and husband Ernest, Yvonne Sandoval, Laura Doucet and husband Kevin; and many nieces, nephews and Godchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Roy Hebert, her parents Felipe and Emie Sandoval, and her brother Felipe Sandoval Jr. A celebration of Dolores’s life will be held at St. Edmond’s Catholic Church, 4131 West Congress Street, Lafayette, Louisiana 70506 on November 5, 2025, at 1:30 PM. A Rosary will be recited by the St. Edmond’s ACT’S Sisters in Christ at 2:00 PM, with a Mass to follow. Father Joe Campion and Deacon Frank Cormier will conduct funeral services. Lectors will be Danielle Brougher and Wendy Hebert. Maria Benoit will sing for the services. Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories of this remarkable woman who brought so much joy to those around her with food and refreshments at her daughter’s house in Maurice, LA following the mass. The family would like to thank the staff of Southern Grace Hospice, her nurses, Hannah and Rees and her CNA Farilyn. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to our family and friends for all the prayers, love and support during this difficult time.
