Lafayette - A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Our Savior's Church Midtown Campus in Lafayette for Anthony M “Nino” Mula, age 87, who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at his residence in Lafayette. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10:00 AM until service time at Our Savior's Church Midtown Campus in Lafayette. Nino was born on August 8, 1937 in Morgan City and he was a longtime resident of Lafayette. He was a man of purpose, passion, and deep faith. Nino was a devoted entrepreneur that owned several businesses, including The Book Rack, Lafayette Miracle Solutions, and his own construction company named after him, Nino’s. Each business was a reflection of his dedication, vision, and drive. Beyond business, Nino’s true calling was in serving others. He was a passionate evangelist and reverend; he never missed an opportunity to share the message of Jesus, believing wholeheartedly in the power of salvation and love. His compassion reached far beyond his community, culminating in the founding of an orphanage in Haiti, where his heart for children and ministry came together in powerful service. Nino loved people: deeply, sincerely, and without condition. His life was a testament to living with faith in action. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him, but they will be comforted with the knowledge that he is now in the arms of Christ. Nino is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, JoAnn Reynolds Mula; his children, Dr. Gregory Mula (Nancy), Gina Simoneaux (Jules), Christopher Mula (fiancée Tangee), and Nina Mouton (Mitch); 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; his sister, Carolyn Armond (Alex); and the mother of his four children, Beverly Merle Mula. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Joseph “Tony” Mula and Thelma Gorsha Mula; his brother, Billy Mula; his grandson, Antoine Dominique Mouton; and his great-grandson, Bentley Jones.
